Liron Pantanowitz

Liron Pantanowitz is professor and vice-chair of pathology at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. During his career he has achieved regional, national and international recognition as a leader in the pathology field. Dr. Pantanowitz has a strong research interest in non-gynecological cytopathology and also devoted much of his research effort towards digital pathology and AI. As a leader in informatics with a particular interest in digital pathology he led landmark clinical guidelines for promoting adoption of digital pathology. Dr. Pantanowitz is a co-Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Pathology Informatics. He is widely published in the field of pathology informatics including digital imaging and its application to pathology.
