JSDP 2021 Abstract Submission

The 19th JSDP Online Annual Meetings Abstract submission

We are sure that you are all undergoing a rigorous workload due to the new coronavirus infection (COVID-19). I would like to express my sincere respect to all the medical professionals who are working hard on the front line every day.

The Japan Society of Digital Pathology is a research society that started in 1999 and consists of pathologists, clinical laboratory technicians, and vendors of optical equipment, communications, and information systems. Currently, we are studying various applications of the new field of digital pathology, which is mainly based on the WSI (Whole Slide Imaging) system that can convert pathological glass slides into high-resolution digital images.

We have been asked to manage the 19th Japan Society of Digital Pathology, and the general meeting of the society was to be held at Nagasaki University in August 2020, but it was postponed due to the influence of the new coronavirus infection. However, due to the impact of the new coronavirus infection, the meeting has been postponed. We have been looking for an opportunity to meet with you and have a passionate discussion, but due to the continuing difficulty in containing the new coronavirus in many countries around the world, we have decided to hold the meeting online.

Although the conference will be held online, we have started collaborating with the Digital Pathology Association (DPA, USA), and from this year with the European society Digital and integrative pathology (ESDIP, Europe). This year, we have also started collaborating with the European society Digital and integrative pathology (ESDIP, Europe). The poster session will also take the form of a slide share, which I believe will deepen the understanding of the participants.

We will do our best to make this a fruitful conference, and we look forward to your participation and submission of abstracts. I would like to extend my best wishes for your continued good health.
